Our brand Mahjong Social House was founded by Judy Liu, a second‑generation Chinese‑American.
Mahjong has been the greatest comfort of Judy’s grandmother’s later life. Watching her grandmother light up while playing mahjong with friends, Judy wished to fill her grandma’s golden years with more warm, joyful moments. That heartfelt wish gave birth to Mahjong Social House.
Judy noticed most mahjong sets available were outdated and plain. She wanted beautifully‑designed, modern mahjong collections that honor tradition while fitting today’s game‑night culture.
